Martina della Valle (Florence, Italy, 1981) develops images, situations and photographs. Her artistic research is based on the fundamentals of photographic technique, often mixing traditional analogue processes with new digital media. Her works combine an intimate, often archival research with collaborative formats to produce site-specific installations, objects and printed matter. In 2007 she was selected to participate in the Advanced Course in Visual Arts at the Ratti Foundation in Como and for a two-month residency at the DENA Foundation at the Centre des Recollets in Paris. In October 2009 she was invited to the AIR Onomichi Residency Programme in Onomichi (Hiroshima, Japan). In 2014, she developed a work for the Mois de Photo with the Italian Cultural Institute in Paris. In 2021 she researched in Pachino (Sicily) to exhibit the results of her stay at the Ragusa Photo Festival in the same year. Since 2022, she is part of the collectiv curating the SATELLIT project space in Berlin.
Her work is part of collections such as: the Farnesina collection, the Donata Pizzi collection, and AIR Onomichi Art Collection.

Martina della Valle (Firenze, Italia, 1981) sviluppa immagini, situazioni e fotografie. La sua ricerca artistica si basa sui fondamenti della tecnica fotografica, spesso mescolando processi analogici tradizionali con nuovi media digitali. I suoi lavori combinano una ricerca intima, spesso d'archivio, con formati collaborativi per produrre installazioni site-specific, oggetti e materiale stampato. Nel 2007 è stata selezionata per partecipare al Corso Superiore di Arti Visive presso la Fondazione Ratti di Como e per una residenza di due mesi presso la Fondazione DENA al Centre des Recollets di Parigi. Nell'ottobre 2009 è stata invitata al programma di residenza AIR Onomichi a Onomichi (Hiroshima, Giappone). Nel 2014 ha sviluppato un lavoro per il Mois de Photo con l'Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Parigi. Nel 2021 ha svolto una ricerca a Pachino (Sicilia) per esporre i risultati del suo soggiorno al Ragusa Photo Festival dello stesso anno. Dal 2022 fa parte del collettivo che cura il project space SATELLIT a Berlino.
Le sue opere fanno parte di collezioni quali: la collezione Farnesina, la collezione Donata Pizzi e la collezione AIR Onomichi Art Collection.
